"Keeping our youth & community safe, healthy & active!" #GivingTuesday

PlaySafe, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, strives to support essential, sports medicine services to our athletic youth and community. We believe professional, competent sports medicine services, beginning with a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), are critical to safe and healthy athletic participation.

This #GivingTuesday, PlaySafe is asking our community to help us keep more kids safe. Every 5 seconds, a child under the age of 19 visits an emergency department due to sports-related injuries. The secondary school athletic population leads the nation in athletic-related deaths. Only 42% of these schools have access to a full-time athletic trainer, and even less have the necessary supplies to treat injuries or respond to life-threatening medical situations.
